A Vacation Detour

Posted by  on Friday, December 18th, 2009 at 5:00 pm

Steve and I took a much needed trip down to Turks and Caicos (aka Paradise found). It was seriously amazing and now that I am back in the 18 degree NY weather, my pictures are the only thing getting me through the deep freeze.

Of course I couldn’t resist having a few dining detour moments and snapping a few shots of the local cuisine. This was the signature Shrimp dish from Caicos Cafe; it was delicious and very well plated.

We took a semi-submarine on an underwater tour around the coral reef. It was a very cool experience and allowed me to experiment with my new shiny camera (I just got the Canon Rebel T1i)!

Under the sea

Enjoy this bit of sunshine today and break out your snow boots for the storm tomorrow…

Kerri:

Looks gorgeous there! It’s funny – the add at the bottom of the page is for Costa Rica in La Fortuna where I was less than a week ago! You should go there next!

Have a great time Kerri! Are you going ziplining through the rainforest? I have always wanted to do that. Take lots of pictures!
