I found these cookies on a food blog, Heather Eats Almond Butter that I read religiously (well besides dining detour). I thought they looked really healthy and sounded great. Plus, all the comments on them said that their husbands LOVED them. Healthy and their husband’s loved them? Sign me up!

I spent close to 30 hours baking and decorating Christmas cookies. Oh the joy of the holiday season! Here are my cookie platters in all their sparkly Christmas glory.

These cookies are a hit year round. They taste like brownies and become festive around the holidays because of the powdered sugar/chocolate contrast.

These oatmeal cookies are a year round crowd pleaser. In the past 2 months I have made them 3 times. I suppose the oatmeal makes the cookies healthier, but not sure if “cookies”and “healthy” belong in the same sentence. Either way they are delicious.
